Awww. so cute!!!11 okay, here are 2 tips for body drawing that I use for my characters.. One: for eye shading, put a blank oblong shape on the place of the eye that is exposed to light. that oblong is approximately 1/3 of the eye size. Always remember to keep the oblong aligned unto the edges of the pupil, depending on where the light is.....Think of a bubble filled with water, with the oblong as the ball of air is trapped inside the bubble. After doing this, add a small circle below the oblong. It must be placed in such a way that it would seem to hide from the light that hits the oblong, while slightly peeking out. Although there are some times when light must face the eye directly DO NOT put the oblong in the middle of the eye.Put it on the top-left or top-right of the eye, and the small circle at the opposite direction. e.g. when the oblong is placed on the top-left part of the eye, the circle must be placed on the bottom-right. After doing this in pencil, draw a big dot by the center of the eye about the same size as the oblong you have previously placed. Darken this, and then outline the outer portions of the eye in thick black. While inking this, make sure you do not add an outline to the oblong and circle "reflections" this is to make sure that you could shade the eye properly later. At the coloring stage, color the ring in the middle of the black dot and outline (leave the reflections white) with your selected eye color, and after this, shade the ring with a soft stroke of black from top to bottom, getting lighter as it goes down and stopping by the bottom of the black dot. Leave that part with the flat eye colors, and leave the reflections white and without outlines as well. Second is the body shapes. During drafting stage (the stage when you temporarily use a pencil to sketch your character) draw the full body first without the clothes (you could either lighten your shade or get a number 3/hard pencil to do the drafting work for you. this would make erasing the drafting lines easier for you when you reach the inking process), and, while using the body frame as a guide, draw the selected wardrobe over the body. This would prevent incorrect or irregular body shapes once you start inking, like a "dislocated" arm or leg for example.Hope you excel! P.S. sorry for taking up A LOT (in capital) of comment space (if there are any).
wow thank ^^ i know what drafting is and yes i do that, but the problem i have is the clothes (or anything that covers the body like armor, etc) i get a good idea of what to make but very rarely so the clothes are kept simple, but i think i can overcome that, but thanks for taking the time to help me ^^

This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
